This product-line consists of the following components:

MODBUS RTU/ASCII and TCP Master: is the MODBUS Master protocol implementation for both RTU/ASCII (RS232, RS485 ...) interfaces and MODBUS TCP on Ethernet. On most systems this component would run on the Human Machine Interface computer or the SCADA Server responsible for collecting data from various field devices. The components handles all MODBUS related framing, error checking, slave/variable addressing etc.

MODBUS RTU/ASCII and TCP Slave: is the MODBUS Slave protocol implementation. Similar to the Master the components provides support for the MODBUS RTU/ASCII standard and the MODBUS TCP standard. This component generally runs on your embedded device receiving MODBUS requests from a Master and replies with the data accordingly.

MODBUS ASCII support on all libraries is optional and must be ordered as an add-on.

The MODBUS Communication Stack components are available in the following forms:

	ANSI 'C' Source Code Libraries
	C# .NET Source Code Libraries (supporting the .NET and the Compact .NET framework)
	C++ Source Code Libraries
	MS Windows ActiveX Control and Dynamic Link Library
	MODBUS for Microware OS9/68K Realtime Operating System

A partial port of the ANSI 'C' Source Code Library (port of the physical layer) is available for the following platforms:

	VxWorks Real-time Operating System
	MS WinCE, Windows 2000, XP and XP Embedded
	Linux
	MCU 8051 family of microcontrollers
	Rabbit Semiconductor 2000/3000 Family of microcontrollers

Evaluation Version of the MODBUS Master and Slave Source Code Libraries and other components: We provide Evaluation Versions of all our libraries for you to try before you buy. The evaluation versions of our SCL's support limited functionality compared to the full versions while those of Windows components are fully functional but work for a limited amount of time. To request your copy of the evaluation version please send us an email to sales@sunlux-india.com specifying the library of interest.

Sunlux also provides integration services for the Source Code Libraries to customers on request.
